Florida: Here we come!
Money Vehicle is dedicated to bridging the financial literacy gap in the United States, and is pleased to announce that its virtual financial literacy course aligns with the new standards recently enacted by the state of Florida.
To fill you in, on July 1, 2022, Governor Ron DeSantis signed the Dorothy L. Hukill Financial Literacy Act SB 1054 into law, which mandates financial literacy instruction for all public school students in the state. The Money Vehicle course aligns with Florida standards, providing a comprehensive, turnkey solution for students, educators, and school districts.

More About Florida’s Financial Literacy Standards
According to Florida’s standards, students, starting with the ninth grade in the 2022-2023 school year, must complete one-half credit in personal financial literacy and money management. The standards encompass a wide range of financial topics, including bank accounts, money management, taxes, debt, and investments. The Money Vehicle course not only aligns with these standards but also provides students with a thorough understanding of these fundamental principles of personal finance and more.
Florida Commissioner of Education Richard Corcoran emphasized the importance of equipping students with the knowledge and tools necessary to make informed financial decisions in the future upon signing the bill.
