Another April — and Financial Literacy Month — has come and gone! And here at Money Vehicle, we were quite busy!
Money Vehicle partners with the Malcolm Jenkins Foundation
To quickly recap what got up to this year, let’s start off with a big announcement: Money Vehicle partnered with the Malcolm Jenkins Foundation to bring the Money Vehicle Course to schools in Pennsylvania and New Jersey! As a result, hundreds of students in both states will now receive top-notch financial education, helping tackle the racial wealth gap in high schools.
A little more background on The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation: The MJ Foundation provides resources, innovative opportunities, and experiences that help youth succeed in life and become contributing members of their communities. Guided by core values of integrity, service, community, and fiscal accountability, The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation aims to be a world-class organization that has a positive and lasting impact on the lives of youth in New Jersey, Louisiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
Money Vehicle collaborates with the NFL
Further, our founder and CEO Jed Collins collaborated with NFL players to help them “learn the investment game.” Collins routinely works with the NFL and the NFLPA — he is a former NFL player himself — to help teach players about how to handle their money. And this was merely the latest installment of one of our workshops!

In addition, if you’ve followed our various social media channels, you saw that we were joined by many professional athletes (and others) to help work through several burning financial literacy questions! Check it out on Facebook or Instagram — you’ll see familiar faces like KJ Wright, Garnder Minshew, Dan Orlovsky, Marques Colston, and more!
The MV movement keeps growing!
While all of that was going on in April, we kept our heads down and boots on the ground nationwide, getting the Money Vehicle course and curriculum to more students in schools around the country. And we’re just ramping things up, too! We are, after all, a financial literacy-focused company, and we have plenty of work to do. Keep an eye out for what we have in store for the rest of 2023 and beyond!
